Welcome PPRS Members and Friends!
PPRS Hosts for the ARS 2025 Rocky Mountain District Convention!
Enjoy a beautiful weekend in Colorado Springs, Colorado, an urban setting in the midst of one of the most sought after tourist towns in the front range.
Celebrate with us and our love of roses. This is PPRS 30th Birthday! The convention begins on Friday with the 1:00 pm set up at The Peel House at First Lutheran Church, located at 1515 North Cascade Avenue, Colorado Springs 80907. District members are welcome to help us with setup or any way they wish!
The "fun" continues Friday evening with dinner at the Golden Bee. Followed by a Sing Along, (song books provided) and time to visit with rose friends.
The Golden Bee is located across the street from the historic Broadmoor Hotel. Please let Anita know if you are planning to attend the Golden Bee (ph/text: 402-639-0603).
Saturday is the rose show day at the Peel House that provides ample space for lots of roses. A breakfast is provided for the judges and their plus one, with a continental breakfast provided to exhibitors. Water and coffee are provided all day, along with day long snacks. Lunch is provided to all at 1:00 on the back patio. The show closes at 5:00 PM with the continuation of Pikes Peak hospitality; dinner for our judges and their spouses at Panino's downtown (604 N Tejon Street).
Dr. Ron Royce is to run the brief District business meeting. At this time we know one vote will be taken for Mark Taylor who is running for Awards Chair and the National Nominating Chair. Barb Kemp and Joe Muzy will have awards to present as well. We may have a presentation from Colette for new arrangement judges. Dennis Husk will present the Silver Medal Award.
