Made with Xara Web Designer Copyright ©2004-2010 - Pikes Peak Rose Society Promoting the Rose Show Times are tough and tough times breed innovative solutions.  Tough times also make it even more wonderful when such things as the beauty of roses grace our lives.  Did not the European settlers of America bring rose bushes with them to plant wherever they ended up calling home?  And, in those pioneering times, many items were recycled.  The two tend to go together – true beauty and an appreciation of what one has. Centuries ago, the Scottish people knew the value of reusing what you had or recycling it into something useful.  If we all did so today, the world would be a more cherished place. You may enter garden-grown roses and arrangements of roses that follow the theme and guidelines shown at www.PikesPeakRoseSociety.org.  See our web site for how to enter, tips, tricks, tools, the schedule, volunteer positions, contact information, how to join the society, etc. We all have fun with designing and imagining and creating.  Place some exquisite rose specimens in the mix and you have a day to remember! In any case, creativity along these lines will flourish on Saturday, June 25, at the Pikes Peak Community College Rampart Range campus (I-25 north to the Interquest Parkway exit, then east, just past New Life Church). Come and enter roses or visit in the afternoon for a wonderful day of beauty.
