Now that the 2009 Rose Show is history, it is time to
look forward to 2010. We will review what was so
successful, how we can improve, and how to make
next year’s show even better.
Meanwhile, we can all practice preparing roses and
arrangements to be better for next year.
You can even put together, as a rehearsal, any of the various arrangements or
specimen class entries on your own. As you move through the steps involved
in this exercise, learn what works or does not, add to your kit of tools, contact
one of our Consulting Rosarians with questions, and enjoy the display in your
own home or give it to a friend, relative, or someone who could use some extra
cheer. As our gardens grow in abundance, we can always have fun with roses!
