Photography Classes
SECTION P: PHOTOGRAPHY CLASSES
Photography Rules:
a. Previously exhibited photographs will not be
accepted.
b. Photographs must have been taken within the last three years.
c. All photographs, with the exception of the snapshot class, are to be matted.
d. The maximum size of a photograph is 8 x 10 inches, excluding the mat.
e. The roses in the photograph should be named on the entry card if possible,
although this will not affect the judging.
f. Photographs may be in black and white or color.
g. A blue ribbon and an award will be given to the best photograph in each class.
Red and yellow ribbons will also be awarded.
h. The name of the exhibitor must not appear on the face of the photograph or
on its mat. Presence of a name will cause the entry to be disqualified.
1. One rose as the subject.
2. One rose spray as the subject.
3. A rose garden scene as the subject.
4. An abstracted rose subject, i.e. close-ups of parts of a rose,
computer-enhanced rose art, special lens effects, etc.
